Camila Cabello is embracing her curves without shame, dropping an inspirational message to fans encouraging them to love their true selves, no matter what.
The “Señorita” singer, 24, took to TikTok Friday with a clip she titled, “i luv my body,” revealing that she was made to feel insecure about her stomach while going for a run.
“I was just running in the park minding my own business trying to be fit, trying to keep it healthy,” the former Fifth Harmony member recalled. “And I am wearing a top that shows my belly,” she said, while panning the down to show her black crop top and workout pants.
“And I wasn’t tucking it in, because I was running and existing like a normal person that doesn’t tuck it in all the time,” she said with an exaggerated tone and facial expressions.
“And I was like, ‘Damn,” she continued, though she didn’t detail a particular moment she was body-shamed. “But then I reminded myself being at war with your body is so last season.”
“I am grateful for this body that lets me do what I need to do. We are real women with curves and cellulite and stretch marks and fat. And we gotta own that, baby.”
The songstress ended her video by singing some of En Vogue’s “Giving Him Something He Can Feel,” as she ran her hand up her stomach and chest.
Boyfriend and fellow pop star Shawn Mendes clearly has no problem with her figure, as the pair have been going strong for two years.
