Chelsea Clinton was spotted getting in a little exercise Thursday as she went for a jog in the Hamptons.
The 41-year-old daughter of former President Bill Clinton and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton got her blood pumping while out for a solo run, wearing bike shorts and Brooks running shoes as well as a shirt from Hill Country Barbecue Market, a restaurant near her Manhattan residence.
Chelsea has kept a relatively low profile throughout the COVID-19 pandemic.
Her rare outing came less than two weeks before the premiere of “Impeachment: American Crime Story,” FX’s dramatization of her dad’s ’90s political sex scandal with White House intern Monica Lewinsky.
Last week, Chelsea took to social media to wish Bill a happy 75th birthday.
“Looking forward to many more years of discovery with Charlotte, Aidan & Jasper,” she tweeted on Aug. 19, referencing her three children, along with a picture of herself eating watermelon as a child while her father looked on.
Chelsea shares Charlotte, 6, Aidan, 5, and Jasper, 2, with husband Marc Mezvinsky, whom she married in July 2010.
“Impeachment” seems to be the last thing on the former first daughter’s mind these days, as she is focused on the next books in her “She Persisted” children’s series.
The upcoming installment — “She Persisted in Science: Brilliant Women Who Made a Difference,” which is due out March 1, 2022 — will honor women such as Florence Nightingale, Jane Goodall and Greta Thunberg, per the Associated Press.
Chelsea is also teaming up with illustrators Alexandra Boiger and Gillian Flint to collaborate on 10 new “She Persisted” chapter books, including works on Coretta Scott King, Maya Lin, Wilma Mankiller and Temple Grandin.
