A Grammy-nominated gospel singer has gone missing in Georgia — shortly after being released from a hospital where she was treated for COVID-19, according to a report on Friday.
Kelly Price, 48, was listed as a missing person with the National Crime Information Center following a welfare check at her home last Saturday, TMZ reported.
Family members told the outlet that they had not heard from the six-time Grammy nominee since she was discharged from the hospital last month. Relatives claimed Price’s boyfriend was keeping family and friends away from the couple’s suburban Atlanta dwelling.
The Far Rockaway native revealed she had COVID-19 in late July and later was treated in an ICU as symptoms worsened, according to the article.
Police reportedly spoke with Price’s boyfriend and found no signs of foul play at the couple’s home.
Price has released eight studio albums since 1998 and recorded with the likes of Whitney Houston, Ronald Isley and Kanye West.
